The 10-day Forecast give you a similar layout to what you are familiar with seeing on a TV weather forecast. There is a primary weather symbol for each day that indicates the precipitation (rain or snow) and the cloud cover (sunny, partly cloudy, or cloudy). In addition, there is a secondary symbol that displays when it’s windy, humid, hot, a high heat index, cold, a low wind chill, and a chance of thunderstorms.
You can expand any day to get additional details. The start and end times of rain, snow, thunderstorms, and strong winds are displayed so you know exactly when to expect them each day. You also get the total amounts of of rain and snow for the day, as well as the speed of the strong winds.
Live weather alerts are displayed at the top of the page when issued by the NOAA National Weather Service (NWS). These include warnings, watches, and advisories.
